Cambridge Disinformation Summit (2025)
The Cambridge Disinformation Summit 2025 is scheduled to take place from April 23 to April 25, 2025, at King’s College, Cambridge, UK. Organized by the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School, the summit aims to convene global thought leaders to discuss research on effective interventions to mitigate the harms of disinformation.
The summit will feature presentations selected by an interdisciplinary scientific committee from submissions received during the call for papers, which was open from August 25 to October 25, 2024. Research topics include policy, regulatory, enforcement, audit, fact-checking, sociological, psychological, algorithmic, and financial frameworks for interventions, with an emphasis on balancing free speech and other fundamental human rights.
Keynote speakers include Nina Jankowicz, CEO of The American Sunlight Project; Marianna Spring, the BBC’s first disinformation and social media correspondent; and Yoel Roth, Vice President of Trust and Safety at Match Group.
