In this presentation, Kamila Koronska from the University of Amsterdam and member of the DE-CONSPIRATOR Network of Interest, explores how coordinated messaging on X and Facebook helped ignite the 2024 UK riots. Using a newly developed tool—CooRTweet—alongside network analysis, a team of researchers uncovered how problematic accounts manipulated public emotion and fueled unrest.
