We are happy to share that the DE-CONSPIRATOR project has been featured in the newly published booklet, ‘Standing Up for Democracy.’ This booklet, a product of Horizon Europe’s Cluster 2, is a testament to the importance of preserving democratic integrity in a complex information environment. It showcases research and innovation projects, including ours, that have been selected for EU funding from Horizon Europe’s 2023 call for proposals.

Specifically, on page 17 of the booklet, you can learn more about the thematic topic under which our project was selected and explore our sister projects, ARM and RESONANT project’s approach, goals, and how we aim to contribute to a safer, more informed Europe.

Our project explores how Russia and China pursue information-suppression tactics in the EU and its partner countries, and how they construct these tactics. It is carrying out research on which cases of FIMI have been the most impactful in EU and partner countries, and how to measure the importance of future FIMI ‘attacks’, while researching which transnational dissemination and consumption networks have contributed to the success of foreign information-suppression attempts within the EU.

We warmly invite you to explore the booklet to discover not only the DE-CONSPIRATOR project, but also other EU-funded initiatives working towards protecting democratic values. Together, we are standing up for truth and transparency in a digitally connected world.
